Chamber Domaine are a project-based orchestra developing bespoke events that are culturally significant and illuminating. All our musicians are leading soloists, orchestral principals and chamber musicians with a shared passion for innovation, pushing boundaries and developing new audiences for music.

Collaborations - Chamber Domaine regularly collaborate with leading figures
from across the arts world to create innovative and striking artistic projects.
These have included Sir Anish Kapoor, Edward Fox, Helen Lederer,
Matthew Sharp, Irina Takahashi, James Pearson, Nicky Spence, Sara Fulgoni,
Yeree Suh, Craig Ogden and Sally Matthews.

New Music - from its inception, Chamber Domaine has performed and recorded the music of contemporary composers and has given numerous territorial and world premieres by composers such as Arvo Part, Mark Simpson, Huw Watkins, Thomas Ades, Julian Anderson, Judith Weir, Judith Bingham, Piers Hellawell, Henrik Gorecki, Mark-Anthony Turnage, Matthew Hindson, Erika Fox, David Horne and many others. Chamber Domaine have also worked with Morgan Pochin on film and commercial projects.

Residencies - Chamber Domaine have had residencies at The Imperial War Museum, The Victoria and Albert Museum, The Arnold Schonberg Centre, Vienna and Bargemusic, New York which have run alongside outreach.
Music@Malling - Chamber Domaine are the ensemble in residence for
Music@Malling and have given many concerts ranging from instrumental
chamber music and song through to orchestral programmes. The ensemble
is responsible for the outreach programme which since 2011, has engaged
thousands of young people from across Kent in creative activities including
themes workshops and concerts for primary and secondary schools,
side-by-side events and work with young composers in conjunction with
Sound and Music.

Recording - Chamber Domaine have a highly acclaimed discography which has retrieved neglected 20th Century works as well as recording world premieres by leading contemporary composers. Recordings have included music by Arthur Bliss, Benjamin Britten, Jean Sibelius, Frank Bridge, Arvo Part, Ned Rorem, Judith Bingham, Mark-Anthony Turnage and Henrik Gorecki. Chamber Domaine are recording artists fro Resonus and forthcoming releases include works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Alexander Goehr, Richard Strauss and Edward Elgar.

Concerts - Chamber Domaine have performed for leading festivals and concert series in the UK and overseas. These have included Cheltenham International Festival, City of London Festival, Brighton Festival, Edinburgh International Festival, Wien Modern, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, The Vale of Glamorgan Festival, Warwick Festival, North Aldborough Festival and Chester Festivities. The ensemble have regularly performed at Wigmore Hall and South Bank Centre and have given concerts in the USA and Europe.
